A prize of Rs. 1 million has been announced for Nadeem Arshad, Talha Talib, and Shahrooz Kashif

Sports Board Punjab has decided to give Rs 1 million prizes to Tokyo Olympics heroes Nadeem Arshad, Talha Talib, and mountaineer Shahrooz Kashif. All three are being invited to the Chief Minister’s House soon.
According to sources, the Sports Board Punjab has prepared a summary of the prize money of Rs 1 million for the encouragement of the three young players and sent it to the Chief Minister’s House.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar himself will hand over the award to athlete Arshad Nadeem, weightlifter Talha Talib and K2 head Shahrooz Kashif. At the Tokyo Olympics, Arshad Nadeem finished fifth in the javelin throw event, while weightlifter Talha Talib also finished fifth.
Even before the departure for the Tokyo Olympics, the Sports Board of Punjab had encouraged both the athletes. Nineteen-year-old Shahrooz Kashif was appointed as the Youth Ambassador of Punjab after climbing Mount Everest. He also had the honor of hoisting the national flag on the highest peak.
