Deliberately Sachin Tendulkar wanted to hit the ball, Shoaib Akhtar revealed

Shoaib Akhtar has been claimed to have deliberately wanted to hit the ball to Sachin Tendulkar in the 2001 series, the same match in which Irfan Pathan scored a hat trick in the first over.

Shoaib Akhtar said that for the first time in the media I was saying that I wanted to hit the ball to Tendulkar on purpose.

I keep hitting the balls on the front of the wicket but I wanted to ‘hit’ Tendulkar, so I hit the ball on his helmet, I think I hit the target but when I saw his video I realized that Tendulkar had managed to save his head.

Similarly, in the Karachi Test of 2006, Asif had a great spell. I have never seen anyone else bowling as well as Asif before that day.

In the first session of this competition, India was dominant but Pakistan was able to come back thanks to Kamran Akmal’s century.

Surprisingly, Shoaib Khattar scored 45 off 60 balls in the first innings. Pakistan won the match by 341 runs.
