The cricketer convicted of spot-fixing was part of the Second XI Central Punjab team in the National T20 Cricket Tournament but could score only 66 runs in 5 matches in which his best score was only 29 runs.

After paying a fine of Rs 4.5 million, Umar Akmal was included in the Pakistan Cricket Board’s rehab program and allowed to play domestic cricket.

Umar Kamal will spend a month in the USA playing cricket matches. In the meantime, like Sami Aslam, he will try to get a long-term contract to play cricket in the United States.
