First ODI; Pakistan defeated the Netherlands by 16 runs

In the match played in Rotterdam, the Netherlands team managed to score 298 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs in pursuit of 315 runs.

On behalf of the host team, captain Scott Edwards remained unbeaten with 71 runs off 60 balls. While Tom Cooper and Vikramjeet Singh returned to the pavilion with 65 and 65 runs respectively.
