Rohit Sharma has now overtaken Shahid Afridi to become second in the list of most sixes in international cricket.
In his career from 1996 to 2018, the Pakistani legend hit 52 in 27 Tests, 351 sixes in 398 ODIs and 73 sixes in 99 T20 matches and his total number of sixes was 476.
Rohit Sharma now has 477 sixes to his name, of which 64 sixes are in 45 Tests, 250 sixes in ODI cricket, and 163 sixes in 131 T20Is.
First on this list is West Indian opener, Chris Gayle, with 553 sixes to his name.
Between 1999 and 2021, Rohit hit 98 sixes in 103 Tests, 331 sixes in 301 ODIs, and 124 sixes in 79 T20 matches. Former Kiwi captain Brendon McCullum is fourth in the list of batsmen with the most sixes in international cricket with 398 sixes while his compatriot Martin Guptill is in the fifth position with 379 sixes.
