Former national cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has also joined the Pakistan Junior League (PJL).

Shahid Afridi has been appointed as the team’s mentor in the Under-19 Junior League starting in October.

Shahid Afridi’s video message has been released in which the former captain known as Boom Boom Afridi said that the under-19 players from all over the world including Pakistan will be part of the Pakistan Junior League.

He said that the players playing in this league will be our future superstars. Shahid Afridi said that I will also be a part of this league and I will meet you in October.

Remember that the first edition of PJL will be this year. The Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed former captain Javed Miandad as the mentor of the Pakistan Junior League while star cricketers Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, and Darren Sammy have been appointed as mentors of the teams for the preliminary edition of PJL.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued an advertisement for the sale a few days ago in response to which 30 organizations had expressed their desire to buy teams.
