In the second Test, Pakistan defeated West Indies

Pakistan beat West Indies by 109 runs in the second Test to tie the series 1-1. Chasing a target of 329 on the fifth day of the second Test against Pakistan, the West Indies were bowled out for 219.


Pakistan had given West Indies a target of 329 runs for victory but West Indies failed to achieve this target and lost by 109 runs.
Shaheen Afridi bowled well in the match.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 4 wickets in the second innings and a total of 10 wickets in the match. On which he was declared the player of the match.


Noman Ali took 3 wickets and Hassan Ali took 2 wickets. Pakistani batsman Fawad Alam dominated the batting, he remained unbeaten on 124 runs.


On the last day of the Test match, West Indies started their incomplete innings with 49 runs for the loss of 01 wickets.

Craig Braithwaite 17 runs and Alzari Joseph 8 runs continued their innings, but Alzari 17 runs were out.


None of the West Indian batsmen, including captain Craig Braithwaite, could match the Pakistani bowlers. Braithwaite’s resistance was crushed to 39 runs.

Nikroma Bonner (2), Ruston Chase (0), Jermaine Blackwood (25), Kyle Meyer (32), Jason Holder (47), Kamroch (7), and Joshua de Silva (15) were all dismissed.


On the fourth day of the Test, Kyle Powell scored 23 runs and was run out by Shaheen Afridi while Pakistan bowled out West Indies for 150 runs in the first innings.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took 06 wickets, Mohammad Abbas three wickets, and Fahim Ashraf one wicket.


After that Pakistan declared the second innings at 176 for 6 and West Indies got a target of 329 runs to win.

In pursuit of the target, the entire West Indies team was bowled out for 219 runs.
