Pakistan cricket team for series against New Zealand and England and ICC T20 World Cup has been announced.
Chief selector Muhammad Waseem is giving information about the names of the players in the press conference.
The national squad for the ICC T20 World Cup has been announced and the same team will also take part in the series against New Zealand and England.
The ICC World T20 kicks off in the UAE on October 17, 2021. Pakistan’s home series against New Zealand will start on September 17.
Chief selector Muhammad Waseem said that Pakistan’s squad has 15 members, including 3 reserve players.
Selected according to the needs of the team, keeping in mind the conditions.
Muhammad Waseem khan said that Babar Azam will be the captain of the national squad for T20 World Cup and Shadab Khan will be the vice-captain.

Waseem said that some of the players did not have performances but their experience was seen.
The good option is to keep it in the squad. It’s not easy to drop someone.
Muhammad Waseem said that Azam Khan and Sarfraz have been given a chance before.
No one can be judged on 2 to 3 performances. Multi-tasking players have been given priority.
There is no shortage in our national team but the pressure of the World Cup will be on the players.
The team also includes Asif Ali, Azam Khan, Haris Rauf, Hassan Ali, Emad Wasim, Khushdal Shah, Muhammad Hafeez, Muhammad Hasnain, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Sohaib Maqsood, Wasim said.
He said that Sarfraz Ahmed has been dropped while the reserve players include Fakhr Zaman, Shahnawaz Dhani, and Usman Qadir.
