Pakistan could not manage the New Zealand ODI series, PCBDRS

The PCBDRS could not manage the Pak-New Zealand ODI series, so local umpires, including Aleem Dar and Ahsan Raza, will have to bear the brunt of the responsibility of making the right decisions.

DRS facility was not available for Pakistan and New Zealand series. Due to the lack of a review system, local umpires will have to be more diligent in making the right decisions.

The PCB did not give a reason for the unavailability of the technology in a press release, but cricket fans have expressed surprise, saying it happens with smaller boards.

Aleem Dar and Ahsan Raza have been appointed field umpires for the ODIs. Along with them, Asif Yaqub, Faisal Afridi, Rashid Riaz, and Shozaib Raza will also officiate in the T20.

All matches of both formats will be refereed by Muhammad Javed, Aleem Dar, and Ahsan Raza on the field in the first ODI on September 17, Asif Yaqub third, and Rashid Riaz fourth umpire.
