Pakistan made history with an astonishing victory

Pakistan’s victory in the Dhaka Test became memorable in many respects. For the first time in history, a team won the match by taking 13 wickets on the last day of the match. Earlier in the Malahide Test 2018, the Green Caps declared their innings at 310 against Ireland, inviting their opponents to bat.

This is the ninth time in the history of Test cricket that a team has won an innings after declaring the first innings at 300 or less. England 6, India, and Australia have achieved this goal once each.

Meanwhile, Sajid Khan managed to set the record for the best performance by a Pakistani spinner in a match. He scored 128 runs and made 8 catches. He took 8 wickets for 42 runs in the first innings.

Earlier, Abdul Qadir had taken 9.9 wickets for England and Sarfraz Nawaz had taken 9.9 wickets for Australia. Yasir Shah had taken 8 wickets for New Zealand in 2018. Imran Khan had done this feat twice. Bakht and Thaqleen Mushtaq are also included.

Sajid Khan also holds the record for the best performance of any bowler in an innings against Bangladesh. Earlier, Stuart McGill also took 8 wickets for the hosts but gave 108 runs. Chris Keynes, Danish Kaneria, and Zaheer Khan 7,7 were hunted.
