Pakistanis need to follow the injunctions of Islam as a matter of priority: Muhammad Rizwan

Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan has urged his fans and the Pakistani public to practice thinking for themselves before pointing fingers at others.

Speaking during a Twitter space organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the 30-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman added that Pakistanis need to change their lifestyle and continue to follow the dictates of Islam as a priority.

Muhammad Rizwan said that instead of looking at our Prime Minister, MNA, and MPA, we should first look at ourselves and what we are doing. We need to improve ourselves. People should be sincere for Pakistan and then question others.

On the other hand, Rizwan talked about the praise and respect he received after the World T20 2021 match against India.

The 30-year-old vice-Test captain scored an unbeaten 79 off 55 balls for the Men in Green. Mohammad Rizwan said that when we defeated India in the T20 World Cup 2021, Pakistan’s cricket fans showed an immense and unexpected level of love.

“It was my first match against India, it was a normal match for me, I got so much respect and appreciation from people back home that I can’t put into words,” he added.
