Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif said that England did not bowl well for Rishabha Pant after the wicketkeeper-batsman scored a quick 146 off 111 balls in the last Test at Edgbaston.
English fast bowlers limited India to 98 runs for 5 wickets, after which the 24-year-old batsman scored a century in a brilliant inning.
Pant shared 222 for the sixth wicket with left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja. Mohammad Asif said in a video posted on Twitter that it was entirely the fault of the England bowlers as Pant did not play a perfect turn, it has technical flaws, and its lower arm does not work but still, He managed to score a century as the English bowlers did not bowl in his weak scoring areas.
Mohammad Asif said that I will not name the individuals but England has made many mistakes.
When Jadeja and Pant were batting, they brought a left-arm sniper which was not the best option for bowling at that time.
Asif said that I am not against Pant, but such decisions of the opposing team give you a chance to score big.
Asif also reminded that he had pointed out the technical problems of Virat Kohli but added that he would like to see Kohli batting.
“I pointed out Kohli’s technical glitch a few years ago but people started criticizing me.
Look today, he hasn’t scored a century in a long time, I love watching Kohli and He is also a bigger player than me but technically he needs to work harder.
