Cricket fans’ wait is over. Islamabad United ranked third in the points table, and Lahore Qalandars ranked fourth, will face each other in the hot weather in Dubai.


The match will start tonight at 9 pm Pakistan time in Abu Dhabi. Karachi is the winner of the Pakistan Super League Five. Defending champions Karachi Kings will take on Multan Sultan on 10 June.


A total of 34 matches are to be played in PSL. PSL 6 festival in Karachi was devastated by the Coronavirus only after 14 matches, taking the first step to complete the event which was suspended in the first week of March. The schedule of the remaining competitions was also released in Quaid.


Multan Sultans wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has been the most successful batsman of the tournament so far in PSL Six. He scored 297 runs in five matches, followed by Karachi Kings batsman Babar Azam with 258 runs.


Kings offensive batsman Sharjeel Khan is third with 200 runs, Lahore Qalandars’ Fakhr Zaman is fourth with 189 runs while Shadab Khan has proved his mettle in the top order with middle order, also favorable as captain spinner. Take advantage of the conditions.

In PSL Six, Peshawar Zalmi’s Saqib Mehmood has been the successful bowler with 12 wickets, Lahore Qalandars ‘Shaheen Shah Afridi with 9 wickets, Multan Sultans’ Shahnawaz Dahani with 9 wickets, Peshawar Zalmi’s Wahab Riaz and Islamabad.

United Hassan Ali and Faheem Ashraf are also capable of changing the map of the match by batting along with pace bowling.


Severe weather in Dubai will test the players. And the temperature is likely to be close to 47 during the day, the heat will decrease at night but there will also be a risk of dew, the spinners will have more difficulty in gripping the ball.

So, the toss will play an important role in the match. Players will be given ice jackets and ice collars to protect them from heat and confinement, while they will also be given coconut water.
